Basic Policy on the Proper Handling of Specific Personal Information, etc.

Japan Real Estate Investment Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "JRE") hereby establishes this basic policy for approaching as an organization to ensure the proper handling of individual numbers and specific personal information (hereinafter referred to as the "Specific Personal Information, etc.").

2. Compliance with Relevant Laws and Regulations, and Guidelines, etc.

JRE will properly handle the Specific Personal Information, etc., in compliance with laws and regulations, and guidelines, etc., concerning the Specific Personal Information, etc.

3. Purpose of Use

JRE will use the Specific Personal Information, etc., provided to JRE, for the purpose of handling the functions below.

(1)	The Specific Personal Information, etc. on investors (including the functions relating to the following): - Preparation functions of payment records for dividends, distributions of surplus, cash distributions and interest on funds.
(2)	The Specific Personal Information, etc. on business partners, etc. (including the functions relating to the following): - Preparation functions of payment records for real estate rent, etc.; - Preparation functions of payment records for consideration for acceptance of transfer of real estate, etc.; and - Preparation functions of payment records for remuneration, fees, contract money and prize money.
(3)	The Specific Personal Information, etc. on officers, etc. of JRE (including the functions relating to the following): - Functions relating to withholding taxes; - Functions relating to individual inhabitant taxes; and - Functions relating to social insurance and labor insurance.

4. Matters on Security Management Measures

JRE will implement necessary and appropriate security management measures for the management of the Specific Personal Information, etc., such as prevention of leakage, loss, or damage to the Specific Personal Information, etc.

5. Contact Point for Handling Inquiries and Complaints

If you have (a) any inquiry on the handling by JRE of the Specific Personal Information, etc., (b) any request for notification of utilization purpose of the Specific Personal Information, etc., or (c) any request for, or opinion on, disclosure, correction, adding or deletion, suspension of use or erasure, or suspension of provision to third parties in respect of the Specific Personal Information, etc., please contact the contact point below.
